Location
The island of Mauritius is located in the Indian Ocean about 1100 Kms off the East coast of Madagascar and 2000 Kms to the South East of Africa. Mairitius has a surface area of around 1800 suare Kms and about 300Kms of coastline, some of which is rocky but most of which is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches, ideal for swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving and watersports.
There are many small islands off the coast of mauritius which are great to visit by the many organised tours.
